Description:
The objective of this assignment is to carry out a comprehensive diagnostic of climate resilience and urban livability across the seven regional capitals. The assessment will examine cities- exposure and adaptive capacity to climate-related risks alongside key dimensions of urban livability, including access to basic services, infrastructure, mobility, public space, environmental quality, and social inclusion. Using a structured methodology that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis, geospatial assessment, and stakeholder consultations, the assignment will identify key vulnerabilities and opportunities.The expected outcome is a set of city-specific, evidence-based recommendations, prioritized across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons, to inform strategic planning, policy development, and future investments aimed at promoting climate-resilient, inclusive, and sustainable urban development in the Kyrgyz Republic.
